When our eyes could not see far enough, we created telescopes to look into space and microscopes to look into life itself.

When our bodies were fragile, we developed medicine, surgery and technologies capable of extending life and reducing suffering.

Almost every major human invention has been an extension of something we already had. But now we are entering a different phase. The next great development will not simply be about moving faster, seeing farther or living longer. It will be about thinking better.

Artificial intelligence is the beginning of this shift. Not because it replaces the human mind, but because it can expand it. AI gives us the ability to process more information, connect ideas faster, learn with greater speed and approach problems from angles we might never have considered alone.

This is why AI should not be seen only as a tool for productivity or automation. Its deeper impact is cognitive. It changes the way we learn, create, decide, remember and understand complexity.

The real question is not whether AI will make humans useless. The real question is whether humans will learn how to use AI without becoming passive. Because there is a huge difference between using AI to avoid thinking and using AI to think at a higher level.

Those who use it as a shortcut may become weaker. Those who use it as a mental amplifier may become far more capable than before.

The future will belong to those who know how to ask better questions, filter better answers and combine human intuition with machine intelligence.

Many may feel unsettled by this transformation, and that is entirely human. Yet it is also fascinating to consider that, by amplifying the capacities of the human mind, we may one day be able to answer questions that help us understand the very nature of the mind itself.

After all, a person living two thousand years ago could hardly have imagined what lay on the other side of the world, or beyond their own hemisphere. They simply did not possess the instruments to do so. Today, we may be entering an era in which we acquire tools capable of helping us address existential and mathematical questions that, under ordinary circumstances, might have taken millennia to resolve or might never have been solved at all.
